Oakmont Park
Oakmont Park was created when the Carroll Road subdivision was created. It consists of 10.4 acres of wooded hillside. It is undeveloped but open for walking. The entrance off Carroll Road is opposite Banbury Drive.

Directions

From center Athens, take Stimson Avenue. After crossing over the Hocking River, turn right on Rock Riffle Road. Go 1/3 miles and turn left (under the highway) to stay on Rock Riffle. Take it another mile and a quarter to Longview Heights Road. This will be a sharp right. Turn right on Longview Heights and take it a half-mile, then turn left at Hooper Street to stay on Longview Heights, and take Longview Heights another 1.3 miles to Old Coach Road. Turn left on Old Coach, then go 0.2 mile to Carroll Road. Turn right on Carroll Road, and go 0.4 mile, and the park entrance will be on the left, opposite Banbury Drive.
