Buckeye Lake State Park is primarily the lake, with little land area. It spans three counties: Fairfield, Licking and Perry Counties. This is a large lake as Ohio lakes go, covering almost four thousand acres, and is part of the Licking River drainage area. It has five boat ramps and two swimming beaches, as well as two boat swim areas.
