Clouse Lake
Wildlife Area

Clouse Lake Wildlife Area is a very small property, centered around the small lake of the same name. The property includes some 96 acres in the valley of the Center Branch of Rush Creek, with about 32 acres in the lake. A newer 63-acre lake has been built just up the valley from Clouse Lake, Lake St. Joseph.
To reach Clouse Lake Wildlife Area, take OH-13 30 miles north from US-33 at Athens to OH-37. Turn left in to stay on OH-13, where it combines with OH-37, and go west 6.4 miles until, after going through the center of New Lexington, OH-13 turns off to the right and OH-37 continues straight. Take OH-37 west 1.2 miles to OH-668, which is after the village of Junction City. Turn right, or north on OH-668 3 miles to the wildlife area, which will be on the right.
