To reach Kessler's Swamp from Athens, take US-33 west 24.5 miles from OH-550 to OH-644 at Logan. Take Ohio State Route 644 north 8.3 miles to Hide-a-Way Hills Road and turn left. You will pass Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve about a mile before the turnoff (and the turnoff for the Boch Hollow parking about 0.4 mile before). Take Hide-a-Way Hills Road for about 2.5 miles west to the nature preserve. Total driving distance from downtown Athens: 37.8 miles.
