Annual Meeting Oct. 17: Little Fish Patio

In person again this year, the Athens Conservancy annual meeting is set for 5 pm Monday, Oct. 17, on the patio at Little Fish Brewing Co., 8675 Armitage Rd. in Athens. Join us for a 20^th anniversary celebration and a roundup of our activities over the past year, which are made possible by the support of our members and friends. The meeting will kick off with a “Wetland Walk” along the bike path (starting from the Little Fish patio), where local experts will talk about the creation of the city’s wetland, the art bench placed along the path, and the joys of birdwatching there.

Along with enjoying some time to catch up in person, the evening will feature a happy hour potluck dinner – please bring a dish to share if you like! The Little Fish bar will be open for you to purchase locally brewed libations and NA beverages.

There will be door prizes, an update on our new hiking trails and the newest nature preserve, awards, a business meeting, and a crackling fire to warm you up.
